Are you running a spyware utility program? If yes, is it pestpatrol? AOL security package pestpatrol in their system. Unfortunately, pestpatrol & a no. of other spyware programs don't work properly & think LW has spyware when it doesn't. If you do then my advice is, either put LW on the spyware program's exception list or uninstall it & get the better ones such as 1. ad-ware (FREE), & also 2. Spybot - Search & Destroy (FREE)

BTW the add/remove control panel is NOT the way to uninstall LW. Not since "before" LW version 4.4 To uninstall LW, either reinstall as the installer removes previous versions at beginning of installation, or go to Start menu >Programs > LW > Uninstall. Or go to LW's program folder & find uninstaller. Using the Add/Remove control panel will not remove all of LW. That can cause problems.
