You should have mentioned which operating system you were using in your 1st post as the forum rules stipulate. I would suggest "if" you are the admin of your computer, select the folder you chose to downld to & check the permissions & ownership of that folder. Then go to the iTunes music library folder, check the ownership of that folder. Make the iTunes ownership the same as the folder you created to downld to. ie: select the folder, ⌘ - i & click the arrow next to the Details & check ownership AND check whether you can read & write or only read. Make sure it's BOTH read & write!!! Oh & if it's locked, you'll need to click the lock & enter your password to make changes. And apply if necessary to enclosed items.
