I have just downloaded limewire for the third time. I have gotten viruses two times before from teying to download certain things and now i just belive lime wire is just a virus riden... idk

My question is, when i got to download a program it always says 851.7 kb in a zip folder and that seems to be the pattern each time i get a virus. So, whats up with this and is there a way to avoid getting these viruses and just get what im looking for?

P.S. Im sorry if ive posted this in the wrong place in advance. Im new to the forums.
