Do these things:

1. Try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Point #2 & 3 in Fixes for Limewire (sample image included.)

2. Make sure your computer softw firewall is properly configured to allow LW full access. Make sure your modem/router has UPnP enabled; see instructions here Connection problems? Check here first! (click on link)
