Default
1. Go to Add/Remove control panel & remove all versions of Java.

2. Reinstall Java using only the "Offline" version here Java 1.5 (take the JRE)

3. Try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Point #2 & 3 in Fixes for Limewire (sample image included.)

4. Reinstall LW using the "Offline" installer version from here http://www.limewire.com/english/content/download.shtml And when LW asks you, set it not to start up at system startup.

5. If it still starts up, then see LimeWire continually Popping up & also Opening at System Startup (click on link)
