Limewire Pro & Mac Osx 10 4.5 I have a new Mac G5 and Limewire worked until today. It kept quitting with application error unknown, so I upgraded to PRO (which was a fiasco in itself, never did get a receipt but my account was charged). I reloaded Limewire and it worked. Had to install a program the restart. Then it said LIMEWIRE stopped the restart. I quit Limewire then restarted. Now it loads up, shows the tips and hints then blinks off with the same error message. I copied some of the message below...
I did try to get support online but it kept looping me endlessly through purchase screens. I finally managed to find the forums, but that was by accident. I hope this isn't repetition of something already posted. I sincerely would like to find a fix - perhaps others are having the same issues. As I said it was working fine until today. In fact the firewall even removed the Limewire port so I had to manually put it in again. Any guidence is appreciated!
