UPnP has nothing whatsoever to do with your computer's software firewall. It simply handles your modem/router NAT firewall (UPnP allows LW or whatever program to communicate directly with your modem to open whatever ports are necessary for "that" program!) That's if your version of firmware can handle upnp reliably or even your device can handle it. You haven't told us what devices you use so I'll imagine they're from mars. So basically I don't understand mars technology. Unless of course, you wish to enlighten us ... such as the forum rules suggest you should state in your very 1st posting.
