I was having a problem very similar to yours a while back it turned out to be my Marvell Yukon adapter you may want to check and see if there are any updates to your National Semiconductor PP83815-Based Fast Ethernet Adapter if there are install them and see if that takes care of the problem. When disconnect is associated with the # of files this points to a problem other than LimeWire it is most likely a hardware such as modem, network adapter, router, etc. there is also the possibility it is your ISP.
