BTW I don't know if you're using Mac or windows, but if you're using mac, it's very easy to convert to mpeg 4 or H.264 which is a type of mpeg 4 format. If you're using windows, then the answer was sitting under your nose as a Sticky at the top of this section; How to transfer music to my iPod (& iTunes) with video. I don't know who told you iTunes could "supossedly able to play any file, and convert it" for video, as iTunes does not convert video. Check the link I left & there's multiple links about how to do it. Even the last link at the end of the video discussion paragraph.
Ah, thank you very much. Constructive critisism is much appreciated (no joke). Sorry for being oblivious.

EDIT: I looked further into the problem, and it wasn't the format at all, the file simply had no video stream. Meheheh. Oh well, now I know for next time .
