well, I'm sorry to have to come with such usual problem... the fact is that at the beginning, few month ago, everything seems to go OK... and now, only the uploads are going normally, and so, from about a month, I'm using in fact, only that part of the Lime Wire to dissiminate some files, but am oblige to get my downloads trough eDonkey only...
I would select some movies, and they go on trying to connect, some time they succeed, are on a waiting list, ask more sources, waiting list again, and don't succeed finaly... every now and then, I would lauch them again, and same thing... some time, in the middle of all that, one file or another says that the hosts are busy, but it anyways finishes in the same manner... result, in 4 weeks now, 0% had been downloaded...
Well, originally, I was trying to download some american TV series, having each of them only 2 or 3 sources. It should work all the same, but would explain, may be some slowlyness... So, I decided to try something else, and to download some other type of films. I choosed a Well known Western, so as a spaghetti-Western, and also, to be different, an Agatha Christie... it seems all to be popular... Just the same thing! so it sits with it 0% DL... Now, few days ago, starting to get a bit fed up, I tried to download any bloomin thing, to see if some thing at least could be downloaded!... At my surprise, only two types of things came beautifully (and fast!), two programms (hem!) and three porno films which started to download so fast with 10 host each, that, just the time necessary to realize that it was working well, and to erase it, there was allready 30% on my library! What's going on ? is there something special added to that junk to make it go so easily, and which is missing to good old films? and, how I'd say at the beginning, uploads are working jollywell... I'm using Lime Wire Pro 4.10.0 (the last version doesn't work well, using to much cpu) on a Mac OSX 10.3.5, and I even verify the built in fire wall which was correctly configured by LW. I don't run any anti viruses, and have given to little snitch order for LW to be able to go on the net wherever he wants to. I very much would appreciate a clue to that silly situation! Thank you
