1st ignore files less than 1 MB (1,000 KB) as they're mostly either spam or viruses. Downlding programs is a tough topic, as we can only speak minimally about it in the open forum for legal reasons (& also the forum rules.) There are programs out there that aren't affected. It helps if you have some idea of the what size the program should be. Then Arrange search results by size (click on link) & see if you can find one in the size area you know it should be.

The file you're after may not necessarily be a zip but might be shared as a rar file.

Some programs require the original CD to install. So that tells you a couple of things. One the file size will probably be reasonably large & two, that the file you're looking for "might" be shared as a CD image.
