Open Nero Startsmart and press "Nero" (upper left corner of screen). It will say Nero 7 Premium if you bought the newest version. You can only update for free not upgrade from Nero 6 (I think you can get it at reduced cost though if you allready have bought Nero 6). If it is a cracked program don't try to update/upgrade it won't work and your Nero will start acting up untill you buy it. Believe me I tried
