It is a free download from http://www.videolan.org/vlc/
Burning, which is putting on to disc, will require you to have a disc burner (a special type of CD player built in to the computer or plugged into it, and a programme for burning like Nero or DVD Santa. A search of the forums for these subjects will give you huge ammounts of information, as you have found, but using those two terms will narrow the search down, and the programmes come with full instructions. Many on the forums will guide you gently if you need them to | I am new to this as you could tell. I have downloaded the VLC programme and I have the .avi file. Does anyone have step by step instructions from here? I also have Nero Vision Express 2SE
