Just reviewed my setup and I have "shared" on the C drive open for sharing. The contents at the moment are all the files I have dowloaded.
The FTC warns that files sharing programs set up wrongly can give access to all your files.
I'm satisfied that's not the case.

Have just installed PeerGuardian.
(The last screen in the setup says: the best way to protect your privacy is not to use p2p at all. [!] )
