You should set your Download speed at unlimited and upload speed to 9KB/s And it is not your head speed that is slowing you down it is your connection. You are overloading it. LimeWire has to be able to communicate with the host you are downloading from. If you are maxing out your connection it can not communicate with them.

Does sharing actually help Download speeds. Think of it this way if no one was sharing you wouldn't have anyone to Leach off of.
