garbagefan2 In order to attach screen shots they must be either in jpg./jpeg./gif./jpe./png./psd/pdf. They also must be less than 100KB in size.
First using the print screen key take the screen shot then open paint go to edit and paste it there. If you wish to edit it, which can help reduce the size click on the box to the left of the screen shot with the little square shape in it. Then go to the screen shot hold down the left mouse button and lasso the area you wish to save. Release the left button and right click inside the lassoed area and select copy.
Now go to the top of paint and choose file/new it will ask if you wish to save the current file choose whatever you wish I choose no because I no longer need it. When the new blank page appears click on edit then paste. You can edit it again if you wish when you save it click on save at the bottom of the screen select save as type and select one of the formats listed above. You can also rename the file here if you wish.
In my oppinion there are other programs that are easier to use and reduce file size more effectivley. With FastStone I could have easily saved either of the files I attached to this thread less than 15KB each. But with paint It is virtually imposible.
