As suggested earlier, make sure the speed is not too high. Nero is one thing, but your burner is another. Try getting the low speed burning disks & burning with those at 4 or 8 speed. Keep in mind that some cd players either/both don't like the high speed disks or don't like disks burnt at too high a speed. And also some burners can't actually burn at the high speeds they claim they can. ie: at high speeds their burning is unreliable. Tests have shown some burners on the market claiming to be able to burn at 48 or 52 speed were actually only able to burn at a lower speed like 46 or 49 or something.
Also, check your player, use a cd cleaner to make sure there's no dust that's causing the skipping. Believe me it happens.
I would also suggest keeping away from the dirt cheap disk media. Get decent brand media for reliable results & long lasting results. Don't get disks made in China or Taiwan ... especially Taiwan. They don't have quality control over there like they do elsewhere so there's inconsistent media. Just my thoughts. |
