I don't know that you'll ever have much joy with the program. If you need to register it, you're pretty well stuffed as you didn't buy it!
A lot of programs are shared that can't ever be used - they'll need a code to install or a code/CD to run. You're probably better off buying it

Just remember that a lot of files are infected, scan everything you download with your AV before opening
