When searching audio songs, use the Audio type search, click on advanced options, choose the bit-rate column & type in the bit rate you're after.
If it's volume discrepancy that's affecting you, then try to downld all from the same host if possible such as if they are from the same artist.
Another option is ... use an audio editing program. A free one is
Audacity (free - click on link if interested) which can open mp3's, then use the equaliser or normalisation options & save as WAV. Then burn them. Or perhaps save all as WAV 1st, then join them all together, normalise, then split by editing & save as separate files before burning. This might be a little difficult to master if you've never done it before.
