For a start you could try to delete your " .limewire " preference folder (Point #2 & 3 in Fixes for Limewire)

If that doesn't fix it, try to uninstall LW and all your Java versions. Download the newest Java JRE offline insaller from here:
http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/download.jsp
Install Java and then re-install LW, reboot your computer and that should have done it........
