Well, it depends a bit on your upload speed, I guess......
I've got a 1Mb down and 512 Kb up adsl connection.
I allow 5 slots and 1 upload per person, which should in theory give each uploader around 10-12 KB to get a file from me (correct me if I'm wrong).
Since I'm sharing mostly video files, I guess, that is a fair share.....
