I've tried to install both the regular and back up versions of limewire and they both complete successfully except for one thing. Every time I try to open limewire, a "LimeWire Launcher Error" comes up exactly stating, "LimeWire was unable to load the Java Runtime Enviroment. Please download and install a newer version from http://www.java.com". So, I thought to myself, "okay, this will be easy, i just visit the site and download a newer version. Not as easy as it sounds. I go to the site and click the Download now option on their hompage and then the "Begin Download" option on the following page. I right click the warning that comes up and click "Install Active X control". The Internet Explorer Security box comes up and then i hit Install. The Windows, "Preparing to Install" box then comes up for about a second and then a Windows Installer box comes up stating, "This installation package could not be opened. Verify that the package exsists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a Windows Installer package."

Haven't tried much because I don't know what i should do. Please come up with some suggestions. Thank you.
