I have downloaded a few files only to realise that i cant even open them.I get a meesage stating that there has been a general error.

I think it has something to do with codecs but i dont have the faintest idea what this means,

who can i have downloaded this free media player which is called VLC but it doesnt have a burn feature.

Please help!!!!!!!!!!
