chinchila_0 perhaps you should do a clean up of your system. Get CCleaner (click on link) & run it through to clean up your registry. Then downld both the "Offline" versions of Java & LW. Use the Add/Remove control panel to remove all previous versions of Java. Then install Java 1.5 (take the JRE). Then install the offline version of LW http://www.limewire.com/english/content/download.shtml

Clean up the registry to rid it of obsolete files that aren't used anymore such as those that belong to earlier versions of LW. If still problems after re-installing Java & trying to install LW, then cancel it & reboot & try again.
