I don't know how many bugs LimeWire has. LimeWire's support for host browsing is very crappy. It is not even remotely HTTP conformant. Most-likely LimeWire does not even attempt host browsing using it's very own RUDP protocol even though that works perfectly fine. I don't have to prove anything, especially not the obvious. Very few people understand what a "firewall" really is which is very obvious by reading the comments here. For most people a firewall is a magic or mysthic device. Again, if people can download files from you - no matter how - they can browse you as well (unless you explicitely disable this in your LimeWire settings). As said, whether LimeWire can actually do that or whether it's too buggy isn't the question. It's technically easily possible and every LimeWire or Gnutella developer will confirm that. Since you don't believe me anyway, I'll end the discussion here. |
