It sounds like you're using LW version 4.10 or earlier. Update to the latest version & those spam files will stop doing that. http://www.limewire.com/english/content/download.shtml
But keep in mind that only happens with copyright files & those fake files will still show in your results. So instead, look for those with 10 or 20 or so sources in your search results.
