Solved the prob - I just uninstalled and reinstalled Limewire and it's working fine. God (meaning Bill Gates) works in mysterious ways?!
I was having "sluggish" probs earlier today: did a disc clean-up, a defrag, a virus scan, ran an msconfig; finally did a system restore and that's when the limewire probs started. As they say in the "Valley":
whatever!

PS: I could search, just got no hits so don't know if I could've downloaded or not. My ISP is TDS Telecom (local, Wisconsin, phone provider). I'm DSL. Am going to save your reply about the magnet link for future ref.
