CODECs list and alternate players for Movies. I'm not so sure WMP has the ability to burn video dvd's anyway. Most people get a dedicated burner program such as nero or roxio or another. WMP is something that M$ puts on all their operating systems & it's really not very good, but it's all many windows users know. lol
