Buy a faster CPU. lol Make sure the Java is up to date. Perhaps an older version might run better on ME. It might be related to both CPU & RAM & available HDD such as used for virtual memory.

If it's an older machine, then go easy with using LW. Don't resume/find sources on more than 1-3 files at a time. Don't over-work it.
