Well that's not exactly true. LW has been designed to work with iTunes. On Mac OSX, songs will be automatically copied to iTunes. On Windows, they need to be manually added. But it's not so difficult. So within this Sticky thread How to transfer music to my iPod (& iTunes) there's explanations about how to add songs from LW to iTunes or even directly add them from the LW Library window. There's also links to iTunes & iPod tutorials at apple.

We also get questions about how to add songs to other players such as WMP. Or how to add to other portable mp3 players. So we need to treat those differently because they have different techniques.

But I agree with you about the point, if everybody looked at the Stickys at the top of the sections then the majority of questions wouldn't need to be asked. Easily over 80% of questions are answered within the stickys. And another 15% of other questions at least have already been asked & answered on the forums. So that's why we have a forum search button. In reality, only the lesser of mind/attitude actually sign up & post questions on the forums. The majority of people visit, look at the stickies & search the forums, find their answer & go away without any need to register. That is a fact believe it or not.
