The grey box represents a quote. ie: if you want to quote all or part of someones previous post, press the Quote button below their post. Edit out parts you don't want to include.

To answer your question, yes, sometimes the title is so long it gives ... at the end. But these ...'s are generally closer to the actual extension, besides you can hover your cursor over the title & it will give you the actual full title. If a file with many, many hosts is real & you downld it, it should start downlding not to long after. But fakes will take many minutes pretending to try to connect but then end up as Need More Sources.
