Try removing your current version of Java & then reinstall JRE using the offline installer here
http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp

If necessary, reinstall LW using it's offline installer too
http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp

If that doesn't help, delete LW's preferences folder (make sure LW's properly closed first). See points 2 & 3 in the thread below for instructions
