Here's my solution for the problem.

downloading the "Clean" Limewire 2.1.1 from http://users.pandora.be/karel.boonen...Wire_2.1.1.zip helps.

The installshieldapplication seems to need internet exploiter which annoys me even more than the Spyware.

Thanks to VTOLfreak and TruStarWarrior for the spywarefree versions.
