This is reknown & has been around for quite some time now. See T3 Spammers; mp3 Bit-Rates Versus File Sizes & I suppose Why Most Popular Songs R' Corrupt but also these nasty groups: (a) MediaSentry, & (b) Mediadefender

ie: keep an eye out of bit-rate versus file size. This is one way to check if they are good or not.
