While I can say yes to that. I can also say it's virtually impossible.
1. Limewire does not use URL's in the manner you speak of, so you would need to get in touch with the one you download from. Also you would only get one host since each one has his/her own IP address.
2. This host would have to enable sharing through his operating system. Set it up as a server outside of Limewire. This would off course leave his/her system vulnerable to outside attack.
3. He/She would need a port opened that limewire does not use and/or preferably turn of Limewire while any transfer was made to get rid of speed issues.
+ many many other factors, so I would suggest you either dump the idea or start testing it out with someone you know and trust. You can open up ports only to specific IP's while doing it so you don't leave your computer vulnerable to attack.
Also I have only done this locally through either my router or Irda, so don't know that much about it, but know this is possible through the internet as well.
