What! Did I hurt someone's feelings? Well, I guess it doesn't matter now anyway. At the end of the month I will be eliminating LW from my system. I figure if I want to waste my money I'll invest in computer games. At least they work the way their supposed to!

If I would have gotten some USEFUL help from the (ahem) technicians, I might have a whole different opinion of LW. As it is, I wouldn't buy another LW product if it was 90% off.
We are volunteers. If you want tech support, then go to LW Pro tech support. We can only help as much as we can. We don't have ESP, so we can only help with as much information as we receive & can work with. Tech support obviously get a lot of requests. But also need background information in order to help.

Did you try deleting your LW preferences folder? This is often the 1st thing to try when things go awry. Point #2 & 3 in Fixes for Limewire (sample image included at bottom of page.) Also try step 5.

If you have SP2 you "might" be interested in seeing this http://www.lvllord.de/

Just to check, you might try FrostWire or Phex to see if you have the same problems.
