If wma is converted to mp3 or mp3 converted to wma, then it should never be shared on the gnutella network!!!!! Such a loss of quality. I've heard obvious re-encodings & it sounds terrible. I'd hate to think of gnutella becoming known as the 3rd class location to find audio files. With files being commonly reconverted to different formats or bit rates, all of which result in loss of quality. Unless lossless formats are used; aiff, wav, apple lossless, flac, monkey (ape), etc. But with a id3 tag saying "converted from ... " included with the description of the file if that's the case.
