Actually funny, I've been thinking about something similar, though with a different intention.
A place where Mods, VMs and Admins. could post about the programs they're using. I am quite sure that there are many people who would actually like to know what people like you (Sleepless) and I and all the others (let's call them 'professionals') run on their computers.
Of course, not to make any kind of advertisement and also under the current Forum Rules (in regard to ware*z, etc).
That idea grew in my brain after the incident of WW and she discovering Ewido through my recommendation.....
I'm pretty sure that we who come here on a daily basis to help other people run pretty much the same programs (at least some of them), such as AdAwre, SpyBot, CCleaner, just to name a view.
For those people less knowledgable, a thread allowing them to see what we are using could help them in deciding which programs to use.....
