Pretty tough that they observe your bandwidth usage so closely..
As for your question about Ultrapeers, guess you just take a read here and somemore with the links included there:

If you want to stop being an ultrapeer go to LW>Tools>Options>Speed and mark the appropriate square allowing you to do so.
