You used Add/Remove control panel to attempt to remove LW right? IF yes then this is why, that's not the way to uninstall LW. Normally, go to Start menu > Programs > LW > Uninstall. If that option is no longer there, then reinstall LW & uninstall. Installing will normally remove previous versions.
