I updated to ava update 9, and deleted the folder, but its still not working any faster. When I download from the java website for example, im getting 50+ kbps, so i think taht Platinum might just have blocked all P2P traffic (though im not sure how they would manage to do that). Thanks for your help though, and if you have any more ideas of what could be wrong just let me know..much appreciated.
