I'm not sure how reliable its UPnP is for that brand, or whether you actually enabled it. Did you enable it? If not, you may need to forward a port. See
Port Forwarding for the SMC 7004FW. Most important step is the 1st which is setting up a static ip. Port forwarding is usually more reliable than UPnP. If your computer is stressed or LW is stressed then it can momentarily lose communication with the device & thus the port closes which is one of the drawbacks with UPnP. Not to mention some brands don't use regular UPnP specifications & thus is unreliable. That's why port forwarding is safer. It's usually also best to do one port forward for UDP & a separate one for TCP.
