Anyways, I urge you to double check your Java installation, and make sure that you do NOT have any trace of Kaffe on your system (even by accident). And if that doesn't work, I urge you to try a different version of Java, possibly Sun's beta version 1.4. It's worth a try right? I just have a feeling that there is something wrong with your java setup. It just doesn't sound right to have sooo many successful Java installations on Mandrake 8.0 and 8.1 by other users, and then have you with this problem.
