Do you mean in the search box? If yes, as soon as you type in the box, an option will show to enable you to clear the history of searches. See more about it here Clearing Search History

If you're meaning the actual searches, wanting to search for other sources, then right-click (control-click for Mac users) the search tab, choose search more > get more results.
