Have you tried what foth suggested & reinstalled Java & LW? If you're going to reinstall LW, use the offline installer (not the recommended one).

If those 2 things don't work, try deleting LW's preferences folder. Points 2 & 3 below have instructions
Fixes for LimeWire

If that's no good, try changing compatibility (point 5).
