Go to your Control panel & find Add/Remove Programs & open it. Look for any Java listings & remove them. Then download the "Offline" Java version which is about a 16 MB download. Select "Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 5.0 Update 9
The J2SE Runtime Environment (JRE) allows end-users to run Java applications."
And the offline installer is the 1st on the list on the actual listings on the 2nd page. Install Java. Then open or install LW.
