Go to control panel & add/remove control panel & remove all Java versions. Then reinstall using the "Offline" version which is about 15.6 MB downld: http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp (2nd on list)

Also delete your LW prefs folder as described in step 3 here Fixes for Limewire

Then try reinstalling or opening LW.
