Once the songs are shared in your Limewire (black color in Library) then they are on the network.
Limewire doesn't use servers of any kind, so until people start downloading it from you they will only be there when your Limewire is running.
To be sure that people can download them from you, you need to have allowed Limewire full access, meaning no firewalls etc. are blocking it. Often if you are blocked then you will see a firewall icon (brick wall) in front of the globe (in the lower left on the main interface), but not always.

The easyest way to check if you are firewalled is to press the Direct-Connect button
If it shows your IP+portnumber above the box where you enter the IP, then you should be good to go. If it says that you are behind a firewall then people may not have your music show up in searches.
If that's OK then start thinking of the right descriptions.
Pick an
Original Artist name
use catchy song names
Write not released in album name
What year its made

In comments. If your music is inspired by some other artists or sounds similar in some way, then you could write something like
If you like the works of X, Y or Z then you will love this!!!
Not only does this give a good description of your works, but will also make your music appear in some of the results for those artists.
DO NOT misuse that knowledge and write 20 popular names etc. in the comments. Not only will you p*ss people of by your music showing up in totally irrelevant searches, but you will also not get a single download, because of the spam effect. People HATE spam.
