no i had limwire 4.11.2 pro installed on my old win xp sp2 laptop upgraded to win media center now it doesnt work neither does the ftp protocol

yes i do.
As i metioned erlier i have upgraded my old laptop (running win xp sp2) to a new 1 running xp media center, i used to be able to run limewire on the laptop but now it wont connect. my wirless hub uses unup and automatically configure for the gnutella network i have also set all the port on my avg internet sercurity to the correct port, but i still cant connect, if you could tell which specific protocol the gnutella network uses i could create specific rules
. also i cant use the ftp protocol on media ceter if that helps the solve the problem
