FileSharingCenter makes no claim to ownership or proprietary interest in any of the websites and/or software it recommends. We do not re-sell or license software downloaded from other sites. " If I'd been directed there from a search engine listing them as a site for Limewire, that paragraph alone would have been enough to keep my credit card in my pocket. If they state that they don't "re-sell" software......ummmm,well, just what did you think you were paying for? Folks, you can really help yourselves by reading the Terms of Service, on ANY site requiring membership, especially if one must PAY for the membership. Read carefully, and read the fine print on the signup page as well. I know this won't help the fellow whose card was already charged, but hopefully others can benefit from this. | Might I also recommend siteadvisor.com, free add in to IE (Internet Explorer) and FF (Firefox) tells you about dangerous downloads, scams, etc. Maybe I'll get some webspace and start a real p2p downloads website so people dont get conned. |
